About Wendy Coulson

Wendy Coulson

I have been drawing since about age 4 and pretty much self-taught. My past influences have been anythng from Disney and Anime to personal experiences. I have been doing photography over 10 years, more so since I was gifted a digital camera by one of my friends and fellow volunteer. I have always been a fan of fantasy art, especially dragons, with eastern (or oriental) dragons being my favorites. I love animals, and I volunteer at Blue Horse Mukwa Equine Retirement and Rescue Center, located in Chase City, VA, where the bulk of my horse, dog, and cat photos come from. That is also where I adopted my cat, Tinker, whom you may see in some of my work. This handsome fellow pictured with me is Linus, a cremello QH who taught me how to ride.
